From Rahara Abhikshan we try to provide proper and formal education to the children of poor, deprived and underprivileged class people of anandapur slum. If an entire generation knows how to read and write then they could teach their next generation and thus the literacy rate of India can increase. We teach them to make them secured in life, to make their future brighten. 

Rahara, Abhikshan is registered with Registrar of Societies under the West Bengal Society Registration Act and the type of NGO is Registered Societies (Non-Government) and the Registration Number is S/96723. The city and state of registration are Kolkata and West Bengal. Our Unique Id of VO/NGO is WB/2009/0002193. Rahara Abhikshan was registered under section 12AA (b) and 80 G 5 (VI) of Income Tax Act, 1961 in the year 2006 – 2007. In the financial year 2010 – 2011, the organization obtained the registration from FCRA 1976 related to foreign donation.
